01 Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Mergent (the “Service”), a product of Xorvion, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Mergent is provided as a portfolio and demonstration platform. These terms describe the relationship between you and Xorvion when you use it.

02 The service

Mergent analyzes microservice architectures using a pipeline of automated agents and a large language model, and produces migration analysis, diagrams, reports, and exportable task backlogs.

The Service performs analysis and recommendation only. It does not execute migrations, modify your repositories, or deploy code. All output is advisory and must be reviewed by a qualified engineer before action.

03 Accounts

You may sign in using email, a magic link, or a third-party provider such as Google or GitHub. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • You must be authorized to analyze any code or repository you submit.
  • You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.

04 Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Submit code or repositories you do not own or have no right to analyze.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or the analysis quota.
  • Upload malware, secrets, or unlawful content.

05 Repositories & submitted content

When you provide a public repository URL, a zip archive, or API specifications, you grant Mergent permission to clone, extract, parse, and analyze that content solely to produce your analysis.

Mergent extracts structured facts (endpoints, dependencies, schema names, configuration) from your code. Only those facts — never raw source dumps — are sent to the language model for reasoning. See our Privacy Policy for how submitted content is handled and retained.

06 Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the code and content you submit. Mergent, its agent pipeline, brand, and the Xorvion name remain the property of Xorvion. Reports and diagrams generated for you may be used freely within your organization.

07 Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Automated analysis may be incomplete or inaccurate, and depends on third-party model availability and free-tier quotas.

If analysis cannot complete — for example, due to quota limits or an unreachable repository — Mergent may fall back to bundled sample data clearly labelled as such.

08 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xorvion is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions made based on Mergent's output. You are responsible for validating all recommendations before acting on them.

09 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
